Men of Steel take revenge on all those who told you never to play with your food.
Two cookie cutters and a host of utensils, animated by three mad chefs, create havoc (and lots and lots of mess) in this feast of cartoon violence and physical theatre. Using food and kitchen staples, Men of Steel recreate famous scenes from iconic movies while their creations get drunk, get pregnant and wage wars, with a humour perfectly suited to all ages.
A broccoli forest is felled, a watermelon meets a tragic end and a lettuce dinosaur causes mayhem in this puppet extravaganza of epic proportions.
Winner of the Festival Directors Award at the 2006 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and acclaimed internationally, Men of Steel are known for exquisite manipulation combined with a vicious sense of humour. This is object theatre at its inventive best.
