Playground games are the fuel for this wild ride to get to the “ball”. These colourful friends climb the mountain of doom, take on the tunnel of terror and explore the perilous pinnacles ... and, with the help of a Fairy God-child or two, they may just make it through to the Happily Ever After!
Cellist and songbird Melanie Robinson performs an exquisite score to accompany this colourful dance work with amazing costumes and a dazzling giant game board, based on the classic 12-colour colourwheel. An in-school residency running prior to the performance will enable 90 school children to create and perform their own movement and play key roles in the show.
All this is delivered by the nationally awarded, premier dance theatre company for children and young people in Australia.
